CHARLES TATUM II MAKES THIRD APPEARANCE IN LAWNDALE ART CENTER'S "THE BIG SHOW"

For the third time in six years, Charles Tatum II has had the pleasure of having his work featured in the juried group art show, "The Big Show". This event features artists living within 100 miles of Houston, and has a refusal rate of approximately 90 percent, meaning only about 10 percent of submissions are selected. The 2011 edition of this exhibition had two of Charles' photos from Summer Fest 2011 and one photo from the 2010 Texas Renaissance Festival.

Charles Tatum II released his first solo photo book project, "West Fest: Portrait of a Street Festival", based on his photo project of the same name which was on display several years prior. The book contains over 400 full-color photos and chronicles the Westheimer Street Festival and Westheimer Block Party from the mid-90's through the spring 2009 event.
