Introduction During a hot week in late July I made a trip to Montreal, Quebec. I hadn't been to Canada in many years and was eager to go back. Rather than acting like a tourist I decided before the trip that I was simply going to explore the city on my own. I liked a lot of what I saw and the people were terrific.
